Kindle Blackburn is a fiction writer, poet, and essayist. She earned a baccalaureate in literature with a minor in philosophy and a special interest in women’s studies. The grounded realism of her writing allows her to explore complex themes involving pain and perseverance.
Like most creatives, Blackburn has several projects percolating at once. This includes novels, short stories, selected poems, and a collection of analytical essays. Blackburn once wrote a 30 thousand word novella featuring microwaves in lieu of a project for science class.
